Big changes have come to the Big South football schedule, many of which impact the Robert Morris football team.
Games against Monmouth and Charleston Southern, scheduled to take place last weekend and this weekend, were postponed within 48 hours of each other last week after RMU reported that people within the program had tested positive for COVID-19.
The altered conference slate for RMU features an unchanged game against Kennesaw State on April 3, with rescheduled games against Charleston Southern and Monmouth taking place on April 10 and 17.
Robert Morris was to play Gardner-Webb on April 10, but that game will be moved until later in the season. According to its statement, the Big South is working with both schools to solidify a new date for the game to be played on.
RMU last took the field on February 27 in a losing effort against James Madison. Assuming there are no further changes in the team’s schedule, the team will go 35 days between games.
