The first week of June is turning into a major recruiting weekend for Pitt as another top prospect schedules an official visit.

Central Valley 2022 3-star defensive tackle Sean FitzSimmons tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he’s locked in his official visit to the hometown Pitt Panthers. This decision was finalized after speaking with members of the Pitt coaching staff on Thursday night.

The talented 3-star defensive tackle will visit Pitt on June 10-12, the same weekend that two other Western Pennsylvania products, Perry 4-star defensive end Tyreese Fearbry and Gateway 3-star cornerback Patrick Body will be at Pitt.

Charlie Partridge and Cory Sanders have steadily pursued FitzSimmons since extending him an offer back on October 8. Since then, FitzSimmons has picked up offers from Wake Forest, Syracuse, Duke, Buffalo, Kent State, Liberty, Princeton, Toledo, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio, Air Force, Ball State, Army, Western Michigan and Navy.

Pat Narduzzi hopes to add FitzSimmons to the collection of local defensive lineman that his program has signed over the last couple of years like Dayon Hayes, Elliot Donald, Nahki Johnson and Dorien Ford.
