College football recruiting will be ramped up next week as the the college recruiting dead period will officially end. After over a year of not being permitted to host high school athletes, college programs will be permitted to host players on official and unofficial visits starting on June 1.
Pat Narduzzi and his staff will have players on campus and at their South Side Facility starting on Tuesday for unofficial visits and then on June 4-6 for official visits for players in the Class of 2022. These official visits will continue for the Panthers through the month of June as well as a number of prospect camps, which allow the coaches to evaluate players as well as allowing players to see everything the program and their facilities have to offer.
Pitt currently has four commitments for their Class of 2022 and that number will undoubtedly increase starting in the month of June. Official visit time in June is historically a busy time for the famous “Pat Signal” to appear on Twitter.
This first group of visits is filled with talented prospects and with one player in particular that we believe has a chance of making a quick commitment.
