Just days before the 2021 NBA Draft, former Pitt star Justin Champagnie is wrapping up his workouts for teams around the league.
On July 15, Champagnie said that he had already worked out with Boston, Atlanta, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Minnesota, Utah, Houston, and Toronto already, among a few others. Yesterday, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reported that he had a few more workouts lined up in the last week of preparation ahead of the draft.
“I just felt like I was ready,” Champagnie said on the 15th. “I believe in myself, my coaches believed in me, my family. I just had that feeling. It was the same feeling I got when I decided to choose Pitt, that’s what it was for me. I just kind of knew it was time for me.”
The teams he has worked out for have the following picks:
Kings: 9, 39
Bucks: 31
Knicks: 19, 21, 32, 58
Nets: 27, 44, 49, 59
