The highly regarded tackle hasn’t officially announced a group of finalists but it’s believed that Michigan State, Kentucky, Illinois, Virginia and Pitt are in that group. Of those teams, Pitt is the only school that Baer did not make an official visit to although he did make an unofficial visit to see the Panthers on June 15.

247Sports national recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong is forecasting Baer to select Pitt and overall, the 247Sports Crystal Ball has a confidence score of 92.3% that Pitt will be it.

Regardless of his final choice, credit Archie Collins, Dave Borbely and Narduzzi for the recruiting effort of Baer, who would be a big piece to Pitt’s Class of 2022.
