All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.

96 • Chris Maloney, redshirt junior defensive lineman

Last year: Maloney entered three games as a reserve player in 2020.

Stats: Maloney stands 6-foot-2 and 255 pounds, and has recorded one pass defensed in four collegiate games since walking on in 2018.

Camp outlook: The Panthers have less depth along the defensive line than in previous years, but Maloney has an upward battle to earn playing time with talented recruits all around him.

Projected role: Maloney will serve as a reserve player and special teamer once again in 2021.

Accolades, highlights: Maloney lettered in both football and track and field in high school, earning first team All-Philadelphia Catholic League honors on the gridiron in three seasons.
