In terms of the most talented recruits from Western Pennsylvania over the next couple recruiting classes, in some order, the top three names would be Rodney Gallagher, Ta’Mere Robinson and Tyreese Fearbry.
All three players are four-star talents and are being recruited by some of the top football programs in the country.
Pat Narduzzi and his staff are doing everything possible to get them to join his program and he’ll have a chance to speak to all three of those players this weekend.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed that Gallagher is the latest elite talent to decide to attend Pitt’s season opener on Saturday for an unofficial visit. On Monday, PSN was first to tell you that Fearbry and Robinson will also be in the stands at Heinz Field for the UMass game.
Gallagher is currently rated a 4-star recruit by both Rivals and 247 Sports and is ranked as the No. 64 overall player in the Class of 2023. Gallagher also holds an offer from the Pitt basketball program and will no doubt run into Jeff Capel over the weekend at Heinz Field.
Gallagher opened his junior season last Friday with a huge game as he scored 4 touchdowns (2 touchdown passes, 2 touchdown runs and 2 interceptions).
