Pitt has opened the week as 3.5-point favorites for Saturday’s visit to Tennessee, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Panthers are a -160 moneyline favorite, while the Volunteers are +130. The total for the game is listed at 54.5 points.
Pitt covered a 38-point spread in its 51-7 season opening win against UMass, while Tennessee did not cover a 37-point spread in its win over Bowling Green in Week 1.
The Panthers and Volunteers have not met on the gridiron since 1983. The game in being called the Johnny Majors Classic in memory of the legendary coach of both schools.
Kickoff between Pitt and Tennessee is scheduled for noon on Saturday and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
