Ryan Dunn, a four-star wing who recently visited Pitt and included the Panthers in his top eight, has scheduled a date for his college decision.
Dunn will be announcing on Sept. 18 at Long Island Lutheran, where he attended high school before going the prep route.
Since he included the Panthers in his top eight and took a recent official visit, fans may think that Pitt has a great chance to land him. While Pitt certainly made a strong push to land the 6-foot-6 prospect, Virginia is the clear frontrunner in his recruitment and all signs are pointing to Tony Bennett winning this recruiting battle and landing Dunn.
“I am still weighing all of my options out,” Dunn told PSN this week. “I can really do both [campus life at Virginia or city life at Pitt]. But, maybe leaning a little bit towards campus life. I have kind of always done that my entire life and that would be cool. But, it doesn’t really matter to me.”
Some of Pitt’s other top wing targets at the moment include Daniel Skillings and Yann Farrell, who Capel will reportedly be in to see at practice later on Thursday.
What are Pitt and Capel’s chances? Easy. . . zero.
