No. 4 Pitt’s non-conference schedule? Knocked out in all ten rounds before the start of Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Concluding the Comfort Inn-vitational against host Morehead State Saturday, the Panthers had no problem moving to double-digit victories.

Pitt took the first set 25-17, as Chinaza Ndee, Leketor Member-Meneh, and Kayla Lund each recorded four kills.

After giving up the first point of set two, the Panthers jumped out to a 7-0 run and held a strong cushion on the scoreboard the remainder of the set, winning 25-12.

The third set was more of the same from the Blue and Gold, Pitt never took their foot off the game in route to a 25-16 set three victory, claiming the match 3-0.

Member-Meneh led all players with 14 kills, also recording 10 digs and two blocks. Ndee also contributed nine kills, as well as Lund registering eight kills and a match-high three aces.

Dan Fisher’s team will now turn their attention to ACC play this week, traveling to Chapel Hill to face North Carolina to open conference action on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.
