CHARLOTTE N.C. — Kenny Pickett has arrived.

Just over one minute into Saturday night’s ACC Championship game, the Pitt quarterback dropped back on third down, escaped the comfort of the pocket, and broke free for a dazzling 58-yard touchdown on the run.

With the touchdown, the Panthers took an early 7-0 lead over Wake Forest. On the drive, Pickett also threw for 12 yards on 2-for-3 passing.

Pickett’s 58-yard touchdown was the second-longest in ACC Championship Game history, as well as the longest for a quarterback.
