Pitt DL Devin Danielson and Tyler Bentley Go Off Injured in the First Quarter

Published

PITTSBURGH — Pitt redshirt senior defensive linemen Devin Danielson and Tyler Bentley went off injured late in the first quarter against No. 24 Tennessee.

Both players went down during the Volunteers’ fourth drive of the game in the first quarter. The Volunteers went on to score on the drive, cutting the lead to three points at 10-7 off a Jabari Small 1-yard rushing touchdown. Bentley and Danielson each had a tackle before they left the game.

The loss of these two players allows other Pitt defensive linemen to get more snaps, including redshirt senior David Green and redshirt juniors Deandre Jules and Calijah Kancey.

The return for both players is questionable.
