Die-Hards: Snap Count Check Against Georgia Tech

Published

on

Pitt’s stunning loss to Georgia Tech was a complete failure on all fronts Saturday night at Acrisure Stadium. It was the kind of loss a program like Pitt cannot afford against an opponent like Georgia Tech.

But there can only be one way to go from this point. Pitt must regroup, refocus and attack ACC play with an invigorated fury. Pitt’s lineup against Georgia Tech was somewhat healthy Saturday, so who played where and how much?

For reference, here’s how the abbreviations work out. PASS means passing snaps, RUN means rushing snaps, RBLK means run blocking snaps, PBLK means pass blocking snaps, RDEF means rush defense snaps, PRSH means pass rushing snaps and COV means pass coverage snaps.

Pitt ran 77 offensive snaps and 75 defensive snaps Saturday against Rhode Island. A “**” designation shows that a player started against Georgia Tech.
