Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Domination of Miami; Finished Season 8-4

The Pitt Panthers showed some heart in completing their 2022 regular season.

After a disappointing stretch of games in October that ultimately cost them the ACC Coastal Division, the Panthers went undefeated in November, capping it off with a dominant performance against Miami.

Although it didn’t end with another championship, the 2022 season wasn’t a complete disaster as they finish the regular season with a record of 8-4 with a chance to get win No. 9 in their upcoming bowl game.

As has been the case during this 4-game winning streak, the defense led the Panthers to tonight’s victory along with a career best performance from Jared Wayne.

Pitt is going to finish 5-3, good for second in the Coastal in the final year of divisions.

Pitt was projected to finish second, which means Narduzzi has only finished worse than projected once in his tenure (2017).

This season is probably always going to be a big "what if" but given the injuries and the way it was trending a few weeks ago, I give the kids credit for fighting back and finishing 8 and 4. There's a ton of parity this year in college football generally. #H2P

Although #Pitt struggled in October and it cost them big time, this is the third straight season the Panthers have finished strong in November. Including today, they are 11-1 in November over the last three seasons.
