Twitter Reaction To Pitt’s Win Over Iowa State, Making It To Round of 32

After being considered a Bubble team by the national media and computers/metrics, Pitt has proven a lot of people wrong.

For the first time since an Elite Eight run in 2009, the Pitt Panthers have won two games in an NCAA Tournament.

Although it was pretty and at sometimes ugly, Pitt got out to a strong start and never looked back, as they defeat No. 6 Iowa State.

Next up for the Panthers, is a matchup on Sunday against Sean Miller and No. 3 Xavier.

The more impressive thing for Pitt to me is that they beat Iowa State at their own game in many ways. Iowa State wanted to drive them into the mud and Pitt just did and punched back that much harder. I love that, actually. Impressive stuff.
