Lang plays for Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Fla. Rivals rates him as a four-star, as well as the No. 47 recruit in Florida and No. 20 at wide receiver in his class, respectively. 247Sports is not so favorable with its rating of Lang, as they rate him as a three-star, as well as the No. 536 recruit in the country, No. 76 in Florida and No. 77 at his position in his class, respectively.

He stands at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds and is a versatile athlete, as he also has played quarterback in high school. Lang completed 9-of-15 pass attempts for 130 yards, as a quarterback, but he excelled at wide receiver, hauling in a team-high 28 receptions for 470 yards (16.8 yards per reception) and five touchdowns as a junior in 2022.

Pitt joins Kansas State, South Carolina and USF as his final four schools he’ll chose from on July 30. Lang also held offers from ACC schools in Boston College, Duke, Louisville and Miami, Big 12 schools in Cincinnati, Kansas, UCF and West Virginia,Big Ten Schools in Indiana, Nebraska and Wisconsin and SEC schools in Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M, and others.

If Lang commits to Pitt, he would become the No. 21 recruit overall in the Class of 2024. He would also become the third wide receiver to commit, joining Florida four-star in Ric’Darious “DayDay” Farmer and Massachusetts three-star Cameron Monteiro.

Lang took an official visit to Pitt in June and did the same with South Carolina.
