2024 3-Star WR Zy’Marion Lang Taking Official Visit to Pitt

Zy’Marion Lang played a little bit of quarterback during his junior season at Palmetto High in Florida, but he did most of his damage by leading the Tigers in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

Lang — a 6-foot-3, 170-pound three-star wide receiver from Palmetto in Palmetto, Florida — is a versatile athlete, and he’s narrowing down his location at the next level. And Pitt is firmly in consideration.

And as such, he’s scheduled an official visit to Pittsburgh from June 22-24.

Pitt is still relatively new in the chase for Lang, with Tiquan Underwood extending an offer back on Feb. 1, but the relationship has progressed to the point where he will use one of his official visits in Pittsburgh.

It will be Lang’s first visit to Pittsburgh, but there’s no time like the present for a Florida recruit.

And it’s an accomplishment when looking at his list of offers, a list that includes Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Miami, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, USF, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

As of now, Lang has official visits scheduled for West Virginia (June 9-11) and Pitt (June 22-24).

And it’s not hard to see why Lang is desired by Power Five programs from across the college football landscape.

As a junior at Palmetto last season, Lang fulfilled some double duty. He completed 9-of-15 pass attempts for 130 yards, but he did most of his damage by hauling in a team-high 28 receptions for 470 yards (16.8 yards per reception) and five touchdowns.

247Sports rates Lang as the 618th-ranked recruit in the class (80th-ranked wide receiver and 90th-ranked recruit from Florida). On3 rates him as the 87th-ranked wide receiver and 80th-ranked recruit from Florida. Rivals hasn’t rated him yet, but he does hold a 5.5 Rivals Rating.

With an official visit to Pittsburgh scheduled for the end of June, Lang will be one of the last official visitors to make it out to Pitt. Four-star wide receivers Nick Marsh and Keylen Adams will visit from June 2-4, and three-star wide receivers Triston Ward, Ricky Johnson and Lang will be visiting from June 22-24.

As it stands four-star wide receiver DayDay Farmer is the only wide receiver committed to Pitt’s class of 2024.
