Once again, Pitt have made the final list of a senior defensive end, as Class of 2024 three-star Josh Alexander-Felton released his list of Top Five schools Wednesday afternoon.
Alexander-Felton stands at 6-foot-4 and 255-pounds and is a pass rushing end from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla. This 3-star recruit has received over 25 scholarship offers and narrowed that list down to five schools: Pitt, Maryland, NC State, Central Florida and Georgia Tech. Aside from these five schools, Alexander-Felton picked up Power Five offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Virginia.
247Sports ranks him as the No. 91 defensive lineman, No. 125 recruit in Florida and the No. 912 recruit in his class, respectively. Rivals doesn’t have any state or national rankings yet for Alexander-Felton, but they gave him a 5.7 rating and ranked him No. 51 at his position in his class.
A couple interesting things to consider: Pitt was the first Power Five school to offer Alexander-Felton, which took place on May 19, 2022. However, the only official visit that Alexander-Felton has taken was to NC State on June 16 and 247 Sports currently has forecasted him to commit to the Wolfpack.
Alexander-Felton has not released a an announcement date for his commitment yet.
Pitt is also a finalist for 4-star defensive lineman Mylachi Williams.Williams, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound four-star defensive end from Monsignor Bonner in Drexel Hill, Pa., placed Pitt in his top five schools ahead of his commitment date, this Saturday, July 8.
