Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Decisive Loss to No. 17 UNC

PITTSBURGH — Pitt dropped a 41-24 game to North Carolina Saturday night, falling apart in the second half, and it was a game of mistakes, missed opportunities and a new quarterback.

It was the third straight loss of the season, following a win to start the season against FCS Wofford, and it’s safe to say morale is low around Pitt football.

The reaction to the loss on social media went about as expected.

We now know why Veilleux wasn’t starting. I’d still rather have him start the rest of the season because they’re not going to win many anyway. Better to know now if he can start next year. But Pitt obviously won’t do that if Jurkovec is healthy.
