BLACKSBURG, Va. — It was a failure on all three phases Saturday night in a meltdown loss to Virginia Tech, dropping to 1-4 on the season for the first time since 2005, but a couple of Pitt veteran leaders still believe in the squad.
Shayne Simon and C’Bo Flemister spoke to the media following the loss, discussing what has to change going forward offensively and defensively, how the crowd noise impacted the offensive rhythm and what went wrong as a team.
Pitt won 20 out of 27 games in the last 2 seasons
Previous 20 seasons they were basically a.500 team
This year is like starting all over again. I’m done with season tickets.
