We’ve got a solid amount of Duquesne basketball news as the season nears.
Over the weekend, the Dukes hosted a talented prospect for an official visit. That prospect was Kade Unseld, a class-of-2024 wing out of Kentucky.
Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.
Unseld is a 6-foot-6 prospect who received an offer from Duquesne on July 10, mid-way through a huge summer for his recruitment. From May to September, Unseld added 12 division one offers, coming from the following programs: Akron, Western Kentucky, UIC, Ball State, Arkansas State, IUPUI, Robert Morris, Southern Indiana, Kennesaw State, Miami (OH), and Murray State.
Unseld has since narrowed his list to four schools: Duquesne, Western Kentucky, Bellarmine, and Murray State. Duquesne is the last of the four schools that Unseld has visited.
DUQUESNE KEEPING AN EYE ON WALLACE
On Wednesday, Duquesne will be in for Courtney Wallace Jr., a class-of-2025 6-foot-1 guard out of The Neighborhood Academy (WPIAL 1A), his coach told PSN.
Wallace holds offers from Fordham and USC Upstate, and competes for Rytes Warriors in the summer.
