PITTSBURGH — It was a rough Saturday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium for Pitt football, and after a 24-7 loss to No. 4 Florida State, a couple of key contributors spoke to the media.
Christian Veilleux discussed what went wrong offensively and what he saw on the unsportsmanlike penalty called on Gavin Bartholomew, and Brandon George touched upon how the Pitt defense is keeping its ‘play every play like your last’ mentality alive.
Pitt is in dire need of some much better talent at the skill positions. QB, RB. WR. DL, OLB, secondary, There is a lot of tough recruiting to do, time has come to forget the super senior one and done and pull of a few miracles with some 4 and 5 star recruits. Need to really get at least 2 incoming qb s. The present roster is telling me the program is damn near on life support. So does our record.
