Black Friday’s Best MGM Sportsbook Bets: Oregon St-Pitt, Dolphins-Jets, Penn St-Michigan St
We had an amazing day with the Winning Picks on Turkey Day. Overall, we went 2-1 on our picks and three of our four touchdown predictions scored. The Commanders were manhandled in the second half by the Cowboys after keeping things close in the first half. Dallas can be an avalanche when they get momentum.
Today we have an action-packed day of games in all sports including the first-ever Black Friday game in NFL history. We will get to that in a little bit. As for college football, while I am going to give out one game on the picks, I do have some leans for today. And they are all underdogs in their respective games.
Look for UTSA, Arkansas, Air Force and Oregon State to keep things close today. Oregon St/Oregon will be playing the last Civil War game for quite some time. I think the Beavers fight tooth and nail with the Ducks. Oregon will win, but it will be tight.
Now onto the picks!
Oregon State Beavers vs Pitt Panthers (-10) O/U 144.5 NIT Invitational 3:00 p.m. on ESPN2
The Scott Barnes bowl. Oregon State athletics will be playing double duty on national TV as the Beaver basketball team will face Pitt in the NIT Invitational third place game. The Panthers are looking to regroup after being ground out by the Florida Gators on Wednesday night.
I believe the spread on this game is a little high after Pitt’s showing on Wednesday night. That is not the bet I am looking to make in this game. I am targeting the Over.
Oregon State and Pitt are a combined 8-1 on overs so far this season. The only time the Over did not hit in a Pitt game was Wednesday night vs the Gators, the combined score was 157 and the total was 157.5. So it barely lost. I don’t think it loses today.

Miami Dolphins (-9.5) at New York Jets O/U 40.5 3:00 p.m. on Amazon Prime
The first Black Friday game looked like a lot better matchup when this game was announced earlier this year. The Dolphins have held up their end of the bargain. The Jets, on the other hand, have experienced turbulence all season after losing Aaron Rodgers. And they will be turning to a friend of Rodgers on Friday afternoon.
Tim Boyle will get the start for the Jets after Zach Wilson was benched. While Wilson has been awful this season, it has not been much better for Boyle in his career. Boyle is 0-3 as a starter in his career. So we may not see much difference between the two quarterbacks.
Look for the Jets to run Breece Hall a lot today, so look to target his rushing total and rushing/receiving total. He should find the end zone today and maybe sprinkle a little bit on former Pitt RB Izzy Abanikanda to score. He is +950. Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle should find the end zone too.
Though I think all these players can score, I am targeting the Under today. Look for the Jets to have a conservative campaign and try to keep the Dolphins’ high-powered offense off the field.

Penn State Nittany Lions (-22.5) vs Michigan State Spartans O/U 43.5 7:30 p.m. on NBC
The Land Grant Trophy rivalry finds a new home for the matchup as Penn State and Michigan State face off at Ford Field. Penn State has a lot to play for as they can lock up a potential New Year’s Six bowl game with the win. The Spartans are simply playing for pride.
Though I do not like to take teams with high spread lines in rivalry games, without the weather factoring into the game I see the Nittany Lions controlling this game from start to finish. Penn State is 8-1 ATS as a favorite this season with their only ATS loss as a favorite coming in a win over Indiana right after the Ohio State game.
The Spartans were crushed in their games vs Washington, Michigan and Ohio State. That trend continues today. Penn State rolls over Michigan State and helps their resume.
