Dae Dae Grant started his career with Miami (Ohio), where he spent three seasons from 2019-22. His best season came in 2021-22, where he averaged 17.5 points per game, 4.1 assists per game and made 70 3-pointers to lead the team in all three categories. He also shot 42.3% from the floor, 85.3% from the foul line, averaged 4.7 rebounds per game, while playing an average of 33.1 minutes per contest. Grant would receive All-MAC Honorable Mention honors for his efforts that season.

He transferred to Duquesne prior to the 2022-23 season and is in his second season with the program. Grant would excel in his first season, starting all 33 games, led the team with 15.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, respectively, 94 3-pointers and 87.3% shooting from the foul line. His play led Duquesne to a 20-13 record, 9-7 in the Atlantic-10 and an appearance in the CBI, as well as him earning A-10 All-Second Team honors.

Dae Dae Grant has continued his great play into this season, leading the conference shooting 94.8% from the foul line and his 2.6 3-pointers and 17.5 points per game tied for third and fourth best in the conference, respectively.

He did miss three games this season in the middle of January, dealing with concussion symptoms that sidelined him. Grant returned to the court against Fordham on Jan. 27 and made his first start against Rhode Island, signaling his return to great health ahead of the most important stretch for Duquesne.
