Keith Dambrot left his hometown of Akron and being the face of Zips basketball to try and accomplish something that most people thought was impossible- make Duquesne basketball relevant and get them back into the NCAA Tournament.

Mission Accomplished!

Setting young men on the path to a better future.

The Dukes entered the Atlantic 10 Tournament as the 6th seed and yesterday, defeated VCU in the championship game. As a result, Duquesne will be playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1977.

On Sunday evening, Duquesne learned that their first-round opponent would be No. 6 seed BYU, tipoff from Omaha, Nebraska on Thursday is set for 12:40 PM.

The question now is will this 2024 NCAA Tournament be the end for Dambrot and his coaching career?

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

We could get the answer to that this afternoon.

The Duquesne athletic department has scheduled a Noon press conference for today to discuss Dambrot’s future.

Pittsburgh Sports Now will be in attendance and have complete coverage.
