The tenth-year head coach discussed his team’s ability to fight through another comeback behind another gutsy performance from redshirt freshman Eli Holstein.
Narduzzi noted Holstein’s composure throughout the game and his ability to lock in down the stretch.
Pitt has also seen a variety of players make plays this season in the receiving game and on defense, which is something Narduzzi elaborated more on to the media.
He further touched on Pitt’s blocked punt from Maverick Gracio and scoop and score from Brandon George that came after Pitt allowed a WVU fake punt to extend its drive.
As Narduzzi wrapped up the Backyard Brawl, he shifted gears onto Week 4 against Youngstown State, previewing a team that he once played for and the town that he grew up in.
