NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. — The Imani Christian Academy Saints (7-0, 3-0) continue their historic season with an obliteration of the East Allegheny Wildcats (0-7, 0-5) on Friday night.

The Saints’ 71-0 victory was highlighted by Penn State commit Dayshaun Burnett’s three receiving touchdowns.

The Wildcats began the game with the ball but quickly found themselves in the hole after Cedric Mack’s pass to Chris Portis fell to the turf on fourth down inside of their own territory.

Starting on the plus-23, the Saints quickly scored the game’s inital score on a 13-yard quarterback scramble by Stephen Vandiver.

The Saints next offensive drive started even deeper inside of Wildcats territory after they blocked the punt.

On the Wildcats 15-yard line, Anthony Portis rushed twice and scored from seven out on his second attempt.

After another punt from the Wildcats, the Saints looked to put them out of it early in the second quarter and they did just that.

Vandiver hit Burnett with a perfect fade ball into the corner of the end zone, making the Saints lead three possessions.

The Saints added two more touchdowns before Burnett’s next score, one on a pick-six and the other on a 2-yard connection between Vandiver and Will Gorman.

Up 35-0 at this point, the Saints had just over two minutes to push their lead even further before halftime. Instead of just scoring once, they managed two more scores with each of Burnett’s other touchdowns, one from 30 yards and the other from 10 yards.

The Saints entered halftime with a 50 point lead.

The second half started with a rolling clock due to the Saints huge lead. While the Saints scored three more touchdowns in the second half, the game was over well before halftime.

Next week, the Saints return to UPMC Graham Field for a showdown for the conferences top spot against Deer Lakes. The Wildcats will travel to Valley.
