On Friday night, four star combo guard Judah Mintz arrived in Pittsburgh for his first official visit of the offseason. Now, on Saturday, he is touring the Pitt campus with Head Coach Jeff Capel.
Mintz previously plays his high school ball for the prestigious basketball powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. Mintz is a 6-foot-4, 175-pound guard who picked up an offer from Pitt just over a month ago after a strong showing in the Pittsburgh Jam Fest.
“I would say my best offensive strengths are getting to the rim and getting to my spots in the mid-range area,” Mintz told Pittsburgh Sports Now back in April. “Ball pressure is another one on defense. This weekend my shooting was good, just getting back into the flow of things. My jump shot has been feeling good.”
Pittsburgh Sports Now will be checking in with Mintz throughout the day and breaking down his visit later on in the weekend.
