It seemed as if Pitt was immune to noon kickoffs last season, and that’s already the case for the 2023 season.
We already know that Pitt-Notre Dame will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 28, and now we know three more times that have been set for the 2023 season.
Pitt will kick off its season at home against Wofford at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 and two weeks later, it will travel to Morgantown for a 7:30 p.m. primetime kickoff under the lights against West Virginia.
Pitt-Wofford is scheduled to be broadcast on ACC Network, and Pitt-West Virginia is scheduled to be broadcast on ABC.
The time and TV channel for Pitt’s week 2 game against Cincinnati has not been announced yet, but Pitt’s Thursday night game against Boston College on Nov. 16 is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
So, it appears that Pitt will have yet another season chock full of midday and prime matchups, which doesn’t even include potential games against Florida State or Syracuse at Yankee Stadium.
