Pitt Offers Jordan Davis

Pitt basketball officially offered a scholarship to 2017 shooting guard Jordan Davis (6-foot-3 inches, 180 pounds) from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina.

A standout for his AAU squad ‘Team Loaded’, Pitt joined a number of recent offers including Virginia Tech, Dayton, Georgia Tech and Cincinnati.

“I played in Las Vegas this week and Coach Stallings came out to see me. An assistant coach called me today and officially offered me a scholarship,” stated Davis.

Davis is known for his scoring ability. Phenom Hoops National Analyst Jamie Shaw once wrote about him and stated, “There may not be a better natural scorer in South Carolina than Dutch Fork’s Jordan Davis. He is averaging 28.5 points on the year and scores (effortlessly) at each level.”

“I don’t know too much about Pitt. They just offered so I want to continue to build a relationship with the coaches and set up a visit in the future.”

Davis feels he can bring a lot to the team he eventually commits to. “I can spot up, I can defend, and I’m a competitor. I’ll do whatever it takes to help my team.”
