UPDATE (6:03 PM)-

** Beaver star athlete Darius Wise is visiting Penn State today. He told me earlier in the week that they’ve been showing him a lot of interest .

UPDATE (4:36 PM)-

** Steve Wiltfong, 247 Sports Director of Recruiting and Insider published a list of 2018 recruits that will attending tomorrow’s game and two stood out to me. The first one is Central Catholic quarterback Troy Fisher. The other one is Ohio DE Alex Williams, who’s already committed to Iowa State. In all, Wiltfong lists 10+ recruits that will be at Heinz  Field tomorrow. To see the rest of the list, check out 247sports.com.

UPDATE (1:59 PM)-

**Pitt uniform combination for tomorrow’s game

UPDATE (12:40 PM)-

** Harrisburg 2018 4-star WR Shaquon Anderson-Butts tells me that he plans on visiting Pitt soon, although he didn’t give me an exact date. This talented player would be an important get for Pitt and a player that has a skill set perfect for Matt Canada’s offense.

** Is Pitt the front runner for 4-star forward Kimani Lawrence?

According to Corey Evans (@coreyevans), Lawrence has canceled his trip to USC which was scheduled for this weekend.  The talented swingman will be in Pittsburgh next weekend for an official visit. I believe Kevin Stallings and Pitt will eventually land this Top 100 talent.

** More Pitt  basketball recruiting information, the Pitt coaches were in Ohio yesterday watching 2018 Pickerington, Ohio small forward Jerome Hunter. 247 Sports rates him as a Top 150 player who holds offers from Pitt, Ohio State, Michigan, Dayton, West Virginia, Xavier and Penn State.

** The Duquesne team extended an offer yesterday to a local recruit. 2018 Southmoreland center Brandon Stone (6-10, 185) received an offer from Jim Ferry and the Dukes. Two weeks ago, Stone was offered by Andy Toole and Robert Morris. He also has offers from Youngstown State and Mt. St. Mary’s. We’ll be having more with Stone later today.
