Thursday Recruiting Notes
Yesterday was a busy day for the Pitt coaching staff. Working to find out the visits planned for today. Here’s what I’m come up with as far as Pitt recruiting notes:
**Received a message this morning from Chicago DT Amir Watts who last night hosted Pitt defensive line coach Tom Sims. “It went very good, I had a great time. I’m making my official visit January 22.” I believe Watts is down to Pitt and Minnesota.

***Where will coaches be today? I’m told that Sherman is supposed to visit WR Juwann Winfree. I’ll have more on this later. I’m also told that Pitt coaches will be at McKeesport HS today talking with Khaleke Hudson. Obviously, this will be a story I’ll work on.

UPDATE (4:54 PM)-
(Josh Conklin and DB coach Renaldo Hill) with McKeesport’s Khaleke Hudson. You know his story, he’s a priority recruit for Pitt. Will attempt to talk with Hudson later.
UPDATE (5:42 PM)-
*McKeesport LB Tymar Sutton received an offer today from Iowa State. Interesting that Sutton received that offer from Iowa State just days after that hired new coach Matt Campbell. Sutton (6-0, 210) now has offers from Boston College, Illinois, Maryland and Wisconsin.
