**A player that Pitt was recruiting and that I thought they had a good chance of landing went elsewhere today.

New Jersey OLB Nihym Anderson gives a verbal commitment to Maryland.

**2018 South Fayette TE/LB Noah Plack visited Pitt today

**Alan Saunders also reports that Pitt 2017 recruit Tyler Sear was at practice this morning and had the cast off his arm.

**Alan Saunders reports from practice that McKeesport RB/DB John Harper is watching Pitt practice this morning. Harper recently landed his first offer from Kent State.

**The Pitt football team will host a talented athlete from New Jersey today.

247 Sport 3-star athlete Jasiah Provillon from Irvington, New Jersey will be at practice today. Provillon (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) holds offers from Louisville, Michigan, Mississippi State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

**The latest Pitt 2018 offer goes to a receiver from Kentucky that has a huge list of offers. Rondale Moore (5-foot-8, 174 pounds) from Louisville, Kentucky is a 247 Sport 3-star receiver with offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, South Carolina and West Virginia.

UPDATE (7:13 AM)-

**A Pitt offer went out yesterday to a big-time 2019 prospect. Cornerback Kaiir Elam (6-foot, 177 pounds) from North Palm Beach, Florida picked up an offer from Pitt. Elam also has offers from Florida, South Carolina and Kentucky.

UPDATE (6:56 AM)-

**Nice little jump in individual rankings for a Pitt basketball recruit. Guard Marcus Carr was moved up to #97 in Rivals Top 150 players.

UPDATE (6:51 AM)-

**Georgia tight end Ben Bresnahan, holds an offer from Pitt, will be in town tomorrow. Bresnahan will spend the weekend visiting Pitt, Ohio State and Michigan.
