Pitt, Miami Set for Noon Kick on National TV

Published

on

Pitt and Miami will kick off at noon from Heinz Field on Saturday, Oct. 26 in nationally televised contest.

The Panthers and Hurricanes will tangle on either ESPN or ESPN 2, with the specific network designation determined following this weekend’s games.

Coming off a win over previously unbeaten-in-conference-play Virginia, Miami will host last-play Georgia Tech this Saturday. Pitt visits Atlantic Division rival Syracuse on Friday night.

The game will be the seventh time the Panthers have played on national television this season. Their games against Virginia, Ohio and Duke were on ACC Network. Games against UCF and at Penn State were on ABC and this Friday’s game against Syracuse will be on ESPN.

The game will be the first between Pitt and Miami at Heinz Field since the Panthers knocked off the then-No. 2 Hurricanes to close the 2017 regular season. Pitt is 1-3 against Miami under Pat Narduzzi.
