Kickoff Time Set For Pitt vs. Virginia Tech

Published

As it turns out, Pitt’s game this Saturday at Virginia Tech is an important game for both teams and it’ll have a national television audience to watch it.

The ACC announced Sunday that kickoff for Saturday’s game in Blacksburg, Virginia will take place at 3:30 pm and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

Both teams enter the game with identical overall records of 7-3 overall and 4-2 in conference. More importantly, both teams are still in contention to win the ACC Coastal Division.

Pitt needs to win both of its remaining games and needs Virginia Tech to beat Virginia in the last game of the season. Virginia Tech just needs to win its games against Pitt and Virginia.

Virginia Tech is playing its best football of the season, having won four straight conference games and having outscored its last two ACC opponents by the score of 81-17.

The kickoff time for Pitt’s last game of the season against Boston College at Heinz Field hasn’t been determined.
