Duquesne Adds Air Force to Their 2020 Football Schedule

While Duquesne is a member of the NEC football conference, they sure plan on challenging themselves with their non-conference schedule over the next few seasons.

FBSchedules.com is reporting that Duquesne has added Air Force to their 2020 football schedule. According to the report, the Dukes will travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 5 to take on Air Force. This will be the first game between the two programs.

After this news, Duquesne’s three 2020 non-conference opponents will be: at Air Force (September 5), at Youngstown State (September 12) and at Coastal Carolina (September 19).

This trend of playing a competitive non-conference appears to be something that Duquesne will be continuing as it’s already been reported that the Dukes have scheduled Charlotte in 2021, Youngstown State and Hawaii in 2022, West Virginia in 2023 and Youngstown State in 2024.

Jerry Schmitt’s team finished the 2019 season 6-5 overall and 4-3 in conference play.
