Die-Hards: Recruiting Update on Pitt 2021 Commit Nahki Johnson

Published

on

Losing a commitment is never a good thing but that’s what happened today with 2021 defensive end Trevion Stevenson, who de-committed this afternoon from Pitt’s Class of 2021.

Despite his denials, many insiders believed the handwriting was on the wall as soon as Stevenson landed offers from SEC powers Florida and Georgia.

LSU is not only a SEC power but the defending national champions and last week, they officially made a play for current Pitt commit 4-star defensive end Nahki Johnson from West Mifflin.

Does Pat Narduzzi have reason to worry about losing maybe the most talented player in his current recruiting class?

Tonight, Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke briefly with Johnson to ask him just that.
