Pitt student athletes, their families, students and fans deserve more than this. I have supported Narduzzi but he has to be able to back up the talk and the attitude, unfortunately he hasn’t. Whipple should have been fired last year but he wasn’t. If anyone is concerned about our recruiting and the current players, and if Narduzzi is going to stay at Pitt, Whipple needs to go now. And we need quality OC, not Chaney or Watson. If Narduzzi isn’t willing to do that then he can go too. I’m not confident in Lykes ability to hire and we can’t… Read more »

Heather Lyke has hired Jeff Capel, Keith Gavin (Wrestling), and the soccer coach (idk his name off the top of my head).
All of those hires have been successful. I would hate to let Narduzzi go because we would leave money on the table and recruiting is going well.
That said we need a new OC.
Barnes hired the men’s soccer coach and the volleyball coach.
