On Tuesday, the sports-betting site BetOnline released their odds for the ACC Conference winner, and the Pitt opened at 40/1, good enough for eighth place in the conference.
Odds
Clemson – 1/8
North Carolina – 15/2
Miami – 8/1
Florida State – 25/1
Louisville – 33/1
Virginia Tech – 33/1
Wake Forest – 33/1
Pitt – 40/1
Boston College – 50/1
Georgia Tech – 50/1
NC State – 50/1
Virginia – 50/1
Duke – 200/1
Syracuse – 200/1
It’s no surprise that the Clemson Tigers, winners of six in a row, are massive favorite to take home the crown once again. Pitt finished seventh in the ACC overall in 2020 in a field that included Notre Dame for a year of temporary ACC play. The highest jump up from 2020’s final standings is Florida State, who finished 13th. The longest fall is NC State, that are projected to finish 11th after finishing fifth last year.
Post this on the locker room wall for motivation.
So, your telling me there’s a chance?! S/

More like a 1000 to 1. With that 3 yard passing offense of Whipples.
I’m not saying they’re going to win the ACC, but I believe they’re going to win 9-10 games. You can have less talent in some spots but have a better TEAM. Anyone will tell you when they faced adversity last year, they started to turn on each other usually starting with the biggest hot head on the team. I really do believe we will see a better TEAM this year and it will show in the win column.
