Mike’d Up: Could The Chaos In The Big 12 Conference Impact The ACC and Pitt?

Published

on

This morning it’s Mike’d Up, which is proudly sponsored by Martin Lawn Services, voted one of the best Lawn and Outdoor businesses in Western Pennsylvania. If you’re looking to build a deck, an outdoor patio or your landscaping around your home, give Doug and his crew a call for an estimate.

Mike and Mike talk about the No. 1 topic in college sports right now and that’s the future of the Big 12 conference and whether Oklahoma and Texas will be bolting to join the SEC. Do they believe it will happen and if so, what does that mean for West Virginia? Would the Big 12 be able to survive and what conference could West Virginia potentially match up with? Could this possibly impact Pitt and the ACC Conference as a whole? Would Pitt want West Virginia in the ACC? Plenty of topics to discuss this morning on Mike’d Up.

“Mike’d Up” on Pittsburgh Sports Now and Pittsburgh Sports Live presented by Doug Martin and Martin Lawn Services, who build specialize in high quality outdoor living spaces like decks, patios, and can take care of your lawn and garden needs now that summer is here.

wow .. major disruption. money. money, money. seems like WVU to the ACC would be the most likely. put aside academics and bring them in. plus, not all ACC teams are top academic schools either. what about Maryland ? never should have left ACC ?

Maryland mismanaged their athletic funds to the point that they needed a cash infusion which the Big Ten was happy to gain access to get the D.C. market.
