PITTSBURGH – The 2023-24 season is underway. On Wednesday night, Pitt hosted branch campus Pitt-Johnstown in exhibition action at the Petersen Events Center.
The Panthers collected a 96-60 victory thanks in part to a team-high 13 points from Blake Hinson and Bub Carrington. Ish Leggett added 12 points including 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc. Guillermo Diaz Graham and Will Jeffress compiled similar stat lines, both with eight points and eight rebounds. Jorge led the twins in points (10) as the fourth Panther in double figures. The Panthers shot 45.7% from the field and just over 32% from three.

Pitt opens the regular season schedule Monday against NC A&T at the Pete.
