Twitter Reaction To The Firing Of Frank Cignetti, Jr.

It look less than 24 hours for the move that everyone expected, which was the firing of offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti, Jr.
Pitt’s national search for a replacement begins immediately and it more than likely won’t be the last change with this coaching staff.
In two years in charge, Pitt’s offensive under Cignetti had no identity, struggled to pass the football and score points.

Pitt moving on from Frank Cignetti as OC. Will be an interesting hire. Need someone who can add some life to a struggling offense, develop a QB, and also fit with what Narduzzi wants to do defensively.

Don't have any strong reaction to it. We knew this was coming. Had to happen. More changes likely coming, too. You have to after going 3-9. https://t.co/qXH3LuVq6U

In terms of news dump – Pitt announcing the "parting of ways" with the offensive coordinator in the second quarter of a Steelers game is brilliant

Frank Cignetti and Matt Canada gone in the span of 5 days.

Pat dropping the Cignetti news in the middle of the Steelers game.
Very shrewd.
