It’s shaping up to be a very busy weekend for Pat Narduzzi and his program in terms of visitors.

Not only will a number of players in the transfer portal be in town, the Panthers will also be hosting at least one high school player.

2024 3-star athlete Jah Jah Boyd (Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia) tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he’ll be visiting Pitt this weekend.

Boyd was previously committed to James Madison but opened up his recruitment on December 2 following the departure of Curt Cignetti to Indiana. Since then, he’s picked up two Power Five offers, from Pitt and Indiana. In fact, this past weekend, Boyd made an official visit to check out Cignetti and the Indiana program.

Cory Sanders and Pitt extended Boyd an offer a couple days after his decommitment from James Madison.

Following his offer from Pitt, Boyd told PSN- “I like Pitt. “Think it could be a great situation for me if that’s the way it works out. Play in a great conference, too.”

Boyd played wide receiver and defensive back at Roman Catholic, setting the single-season touchdown reception record and earning Catholic League MVP, but the Pitt staff views him as a safety.

Pitt holds commitments from three-star cornerback Nigel Maynard, three-star safety Allen Bryant and three-star cornerback Tayshawn Banks in the class of 2024.
