DURHAM, N.C. — On Saturday night, Blake Hinson led Pitt in a gutsy road victory over No. 7 Duke with several massive plays.
Pitt’s senior leader hit each of his first six threes in the win, firing up Pitt’s team and aggravating the Duke faithful in a packed Cameron Indoor Stadium. Hinson then hit the game-sealing free throw with seconds remaining. As the final buzzer sounded, Hinson let all of his emotions out as the Panthers had completed the upset.
Hinson ran over to the Cameron Crazies — Duke’s student section — and stood up on the press row table. Then, he looked up to the student section, and talked his talk.
Hinson had done it. He had led the Panthers in perhaps the most well-known environment in college basketball to a massive upset win.

Would you have rather seen a “good game brother “ down the line with cuddly hugs? We see enough of that nowadays… “you just beat us by 20 points, but love you bro love you man.” No, we need guys with Hinson’s passion.
You mean by the “Cameron Crazies”? The wonderful Duke student section made up of foreigners, females and dweebs with arms the size of pipe cleaners spewing their hate at fellow college aged ball players. Oh that is right you just have to sit back and take their venom and hate. Glad Blake stuffed it in the face of those freaks and geeks!!!

I am a Pitt basketball season ticket holder that sits right near the student section. It is not even a close comparison in anyway. Go to a game sometime and you will see. Did you really take a look at the Duke student section?
I liked it. Very Krauser like. They have to play wan edge like that.
Knowing B2Smooth since HS, the impact he has left on the community, the school, and specifically my family is un-measurable! This guy’s heart and passion…off the chart! Should he jump on the table and taunt the crowd…umm, probably not. Should the fans have free reign to act and say whatever they want…probably not.
