DURHAM, N.C. — On Saturday night, Pitt earned its first win at Duke since 1979 in a triumphant victory led by the team’s leader Blake Hinson and rookie Jaland Lowe.
Hinson scored 24 in the win, hitting eight of his ten field-goal attempts and all seven of his three-point tries. Lowe stepped up and hit the biggest shot of his life — a dagger of a three pointer in front of the out-stretched arms of Kyle Filipowski to build Pitt’s lead up to four with just 43 seconds to play.
