The North Carolina Tar Heels find themselves in a similar spot to where Duke was last night: in a road game before the biggest game of the season versus their bitter rival. The Blue Devils were able to take care of business last night in Blacksburg. Can the Tar Heels do the same in Atlanta?
Georgia Tech was able to knock off Duke in their first ACC game of the season. Outside a win on the road at Clemson, it has been downhill since for the Yellow Jackets. I believe North Carolina to be a team on a mission this year and they run through the Ramblin’ Wreck and cover.

Utah Jazz at New York Knicks (-4.5) O/U 230.5 7:30 PM
Both of these teams are coming off a back-to-back last night. The Jazz were crushed by the Brooklyn Nets, allowing Ben Simmons to record his first double-double since Moses wore short pants. On the flip side, the Knicks did some crushing of their own despite being without Julius Randle, who is out for an extended period. They blew out the Hornets in Charlotte.
One team was already in New York while the home team had to fly back to New York to host this game. The Knicks are one of the best teams in the NBA at home this year and we found that out firsthand when they dispatched the Nuggets last week. Even without Randle, the Knicks win and cover over Utah.

The games right before an All-Star break. How much do these teams really care or are they looking forward to their in-season vacation time? That has to be the feeling for the San Jose Sharks, who are playing the first leg of a back-to-back before their break starts.
This will be the last game before the break for the Kraken. They crushed the Sharks in their first and only meeting of the season 7-1 in Seattle. This total is very low. I believe despite the low total this game will go over.
