On Wednesday night, Pitt had a chance to pick up an important win and with that, gain some momentum towards trying to make a run at qualifying for the NCAA Tournament.
After playing a strong 1st half and going ahead by double digits in the 2nd half, Pitt hit a long cold spell offensively which allowed NC State to get back into it.
However, Pitt kept their composure to pull out a huge win to pick up their 15th win of the season.
Huge win! Virginia is going to be tough, but if we can win 2 of the next 3, I think we are going to be firmly on the bubble. H2P!
