ESPN and Fox Sports currently project that just five teams from the ACC will make this year’s NCAA Tournament.
Recently, ACC coaches have expressed their disgust towards these predictions. Namely, Clemson’s Brad Brownell and Wake Forest’s Steve Forbes have talked about the prediction process and voiced their frustrations about the disrespect that the ACC is shown during this time of year despite the conference’s past tournament success. On Thursday, Pitt head coach Jeff Capel weighed into the discussion, going in-depth on the ACC’s past success, the NET rankings, manipulating those NET rankings, and more.
Hear from Capel at the link below. the bottom line is that we need to get more teams in the tournament.
Pitt takes on Boston College on Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m. in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
Serious question. Who would you root for in the City Game? I know it’s not played. We all know who killed it. Just asking who you would root for? My answer would be based on my undergraduate school. I went to grad school at a big Hockey East school, and while I root for them it doesn’t feel the same as it would if I had been an undergrad there. I’m not saying you can’t be a fan of both.
Good question! Depends on a number of factors- when Dixon was here I was pretty agnostic

BC is a quad 2 game on the road. NC State and Florida State are both quad 3 games at home. Too bad NC State and Florida State aren’t slightly better in the metrics. Winning three quad two games in a row to finish out the season would look a lot better on paper.
It’s pretty funny, how, on this board everyone expects them to sweep the last three. I’ll add my $0.02- ain’t going to happen. They will lose at least one. I’m guessing two
right it will not be easy and chances are not good. I wasn’t assuming… just talking best case situation for the whole chance of making it scenario. NC State and Florida State fancy themselves bubble teams too and have a lot to play for in the standings. BC wont be an easy out on the road.
lol
Weirdo.
Trolling? Punk ….”why are you attacking me”?

I’m still a fan and whether or not it is realistic I’m still holding on to the fleeting hope they make it.
Agree……..
Rob, Wrong again. They will sweep.
We’ll see Howie
