Pitt sharpshooter Blake HInson begins his NBA career on Saturday night in the NBA Summer League playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Pitt’s NCAA Tournament hopes aren’t dead just yet — according to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.

The Panthers appeared on Lunardi’s bracketology prediction on Friday, back on the “Next Four Out” line. Pitt currently sits at 18-10 on the season and 9-8 in ACC play, coming off a loss to Quad-1 opponent Clemson.

Pitt is ranked as the No. 49 team in the NCAA NET rankings. The Panthers own a 3-6 record in Quad 1 games, 2-2 record in Quad 2 games, 6-2 record in Quad 3 games, and 7-0 record in Quad 4 games.

The Panthers play next on Saturday, March 2 at Boston College. That game will tip off at 6 p.m. on ACC Network. The Eagles are ranked as the No. 92 team in the latest NET rankings, making this game a Quad 2 opportunity for the Panthers.
