Pitt Expresses Interest in First Team All-Ivy league Transfer

We are only three days into this year’s transfer portal window, but there are already more than 590 players available in the division one transfer portal.
Ever since its season ended with an ACC Tournament loss to North Carolina, the conference’s top seed, Pitt’s staff has been hard at work recruiting transfers to fill in spots on next year’s team.
On Wednesday, PSN learned of another target that has been hearing from Pitt.
The Panthers have been in contact with Cornell transfer guard Chris Manon, who was recently named to the Ivy League All-Tournament Team. The graduate transfer out of New Milford, New Jersey has one year of eligibility remaining after this year, and has also heard from programs such as Clemson, Arkansas, Georgetown, Minnesota, UMass, Richmond, and others, his coach told PSN.
Manon stands at 6-foot-5, 205 pounds and averaged 12.5 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game this season for the Big Red. He hit 23 of his 68 three-point attempts on the year (34%) and 56% of his overall field-goal tries. Manon has increased his field-goal percentages and his scoring production in each of his three seasons at Cornell. In each of the past two years, he had 63 steals on the defensive end. He earned First Team All-Conference this year for his stellar play in the regular season.
In two games against high major opponents this year (Baylor and Syracuse), Manon averaged 9.5 points and six rebounds per game.
